In Ojibwe our word for water is nibiish (pronounced ni-biish). Also translates to the gift of life.

In Ojibwe our word for mask is gibidojaanechigan(pronounced gi-bi-do-jaa-ne-chi-gan).Also translates to mask that covers the nose and mouth.I have a doctor and 2 nurses in my family-folks are getting sick again so stay safe out there.
In Ojibwe our word for firewood is misan (pronounced mi-san). Making firewood is misanike or manise. (Mi-san-i-ke; ma-ni-se).

In our community we had Anishinaabe veterans- we donโt use the term Indigenous- itโs for those that canโt pronounce our nations. The government has labeled us as Indians, Natives, Aboriginals and now Indigenous-but we are First Nations. Ojibwe, Odawa, Potawatomi, Mississauga etc.
In Ojibwe our word for soldiers is zhimaaganishag. List of veterans from the Wikwemikong First Nation- this is only one First Nation that served our country. First Nations defended Canada in every major military conflict. Lest We Forget.

Why do we remind you to drink water? A lot of drugs can dehydrate, cause dry mouth, sun sensitivity, risk of kidney stones. and let's face it you haven't had enough which might be part of the reason why you feel like running away. Drink the damn water.
