At this point it seems like some kind of ML model is trying / learning how to run OpenAI .. so far no success.. #openai #microsoft #ai
PHP did the markup and server code mixing 20 years ago and collectively decided its a bad idea as it becomes unmaintanable pretty fast. Now that gets further complicated by also mixing with frontend-stack complexity... Can somebody explain to me why that is a good idea now?

YouTube prevents using the site with an adblocker, then shows a crypto scam as the first advertisement 🤦 I wonder why people would use adblockers.. 🤔
Living in Belgium doesn't mean French is my main language. We do speak Dutch and German as well! So don't make that choice for me..
A friendly reminder that simple duplication is a lot better than early abstractions. You need to experience the re-use case to have the insights required to create the right abstraction. Unless abstractions simplify things, don't introduce them.
While I do think products like Vercel, Railways and Planetscale etc are amazing products, I do feel a lot of newer devs miss out on the 'struggles' (and joy) of learning how things work behind the scenes.
Driving 'DRY' coding to the extreme often leads to abstractions which you end of fighting with later on. A better aproach (imo) is the Rule of Three: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rule_of_t… #cleancode #coding #softwaredevelopment #softwareengineering

Ha! Remember those days, like 10+ years ago in PHP we were mashing together whatever combo of composerable router, view, di, etc. packages we could find to build an app? .. Or writing your own framework?! Those were some wild times 😅
If you use React, you should be using a React framework. If your existing app doesn't use a framework, you should incrementally migrate to one. If you're creating a new React project, you should use a framework from the beginning.
