mike was of the mvps this volume, period. comforted holly, figured out mr. whatsit, came up with two plans, tried to protect the children, gave el a pep talk, encouraged will, coaxed erica, led the party, fought a demodog successfully, cosplayed as a patient... boy was BUSY.
Mind you the whole reason the show made Mike unable to say ILY to El was so he could say it during her fight with Vecna . Its why the show parallels small El defeating Henry with her mom's I Love You, later switching the role to Mike. Yall misogynistic asf but also dumb as hell
