I’m NCAA alumni and think both leagues are great but “the playing against older players prepares you better for NHL” looks to be a misconception not backed by data/case studies. Appears quickest way to NHL and early/big $ is actually CHL—>Pro.
Giving the finger aside, when did healthy scratches and injured players start looking this way at games? Wife beaters and baseball caps? Not wearing a tie and jacket is one thing, but some kind of professionalism should still be mandatory. Business casual at the very least.
The NHL is looking at this William Nylander incident, per sources. It's possible the #leafs forward will face punishment for flipping the middle finger at the broadcast camera during today's game. Nylander has since apologized, calling it a "moment of frustration."
If you let this go and then call the one that ended the game you’re out to lunch. Ridiculous that this wasn’t called and the other one was. Easily as bad if not a worse hold.
