1) If @charlesmurray knew ANY math at all he would have realized that Δ 130 to 140 is a tail error (pple only correlate at .8 w/their own tests). 2) If @charlesmurray knew ANY mathematician at all he would have known (cf @davidbessis) that NO mathematician knows their "IQ".

In a sufficiently advanced college math class, lots of the 130 IQ kids have to drop out because they just can't learn the material whereas almost all the 140 kids can. In a history or literature class it's more subjective. My experience is that the 130 range, though really…
