For Art Day our Y2’s were costume designers like Paul Tazewell from Wicked! 🩷💚 Like Paul, they used nature as their inspiration, created mood boards then designed a costume for a character that belongs in the cast of wicked! Here are a few amazing examples🤩🪡🧵@embarkfed

Our Y2s are learning about Captain Scott’s expedition to Antarctica. The artist Dr Wilson accompanied him and painted penguin landscapes whilst wearing big fur mittens to prevent frostbite! The children had a go today to see what it was like. @embarkfed 🐧
