We've been talking about Bundlr's scalability for a while. Now, we want to show you ๐Ÿ“บ Watch Bundlr CEO, @josh_benaron, and Lead Engineer, @JesseCruzWright, take Bundlr to 50,000 transactions per second and beyond ๐Ÿš€

It's not really sufficient for email to be end-to-end encrypted if the messages are stored on a centralized server which can block access and delete the data.

What happens when the "free email service" decides it no longer wants to have you on their platform? @MyMailProtocol founder DMac shares part of his motivation to build on #arweave - it's both humbling and incredibly empowering. Full episode here: podcast.onlyarweave.com/episodes/decenโ€ฆ

New ideas need old buildings. - Jane Jacobs

MyMail intends to leverage Bundlr Network (Arweave L2) to deliver messages at scale with nearly instant delivery times (settlement).

Weโ€™ve seen huge growth recently. Sustaining a 1.2m daily transaction count ๐Ÿš€ Bundlr now accounts for a large majority of transaction data volume, as the primary mode of getting data on to Arweave We have an ambitious year ahead!

The first node of MyMails decentralized network will be its community. We believe that decentralization is as much about the number of minds engaged in the protocol as it is about the number nodes that operate it.

MyMail's mission is to accelerate the worlds transition from centralized Email to decentralized messaging. Bridging Email to Web3 serves the same purpose for MyMail Protocol as fiat onramps do to traditional blockchains.

Centralized email bundles your digital identity with email service. You give them your identity and in return they offer you "free" email. MyMail undoes this, separating your identity, data, and email address. Your data is permanently linked to your keys that only you control

Decentralization and Web3 are the future of the web, but they can also make existing Web2 networks less extractive and more user centric.

Put another way, there hasnโ€™t been a shift in the dominant computing platform of the day that hasnโ€™t included email. By extending email to Web3 we can accelerate the worlds transition to decentralized messaging.

Email is the original "Killer App" for the internet and in the subsequent 40 years it hasn't stopped killing.

Email is the original "Killer App" for the internet and in the subsequent 40 years it hasn't stopped killing.

In 1996 Hotmail centralized Email on the web by vertically integrating it and adding a web based inbox, now, 25 years later with decentralization and permanent storage we finally have the tools to make the next paradigm shift.

Unlike centralized email on Web2 that locks you in and makes it difficult to switch services, if you decide to change mail apps on the permaweb your messages will instantly appear in the new app when you authenticate. Zero lock in.
