This will be our last post on this platform. Please continue following us over at fosstodon.org/@osuosl
We're experiencing some issues with our DNS servers which are impacting several services. We're working on resolving it, thanks for your patience!
We're about to do some planned network maintenance that will take our whole network down for a few minutes
One of our hypervisor nodes decided to reboot about 30 minutes ago. All VMs hosted on the node should be back online now. Apologies for the issues!
This system is back online
One of our mirrors behind ftp.osuosl.org is currently down for maintenance to replace a failing disk back plane. It's not currently in DNS rotation but some projects might be still directly referencing it. We expect to bring this back online within the next hour or so.

All systems appear to be back to normal. The root cause was a core network switch getting rebooted due to a kernel panic. We'll be investigating why this happened and how we can prevent it in the future.
We seem to be having a major outage and are looking into it

This maintenance has been completed and was successful!
We're starting our planned mysql maintenance window on one of our clusters. Wish us luck on the upgrade!
