Those of you who insist on using zoom for your #podcasts. Here is an answer to some of the quality issues that that platform typically brings. And transparently, it’s an answer to the prayers of us who perform the #postproduction of podcasts that have been recorded on Zoom!!
You can adjust settings on Zoom to locally record and access a better quality feed or at the least have more control over it in post. 1 Click ‘Recording’ in the vertical menu bar on the left. 2 Check the box beside ‘Record a separate audio file of each participant’.

Clubhouse showed a lot of promise. But for some reasons the company has sabotaged its own product that the app is almost useless (although it still has users). They could have become the next Twitter, paired it with their original live audio moat. But they missed their chance.

If you are doing a podcast with bad audio and wondering why no one is listening... When I open a podcast, you have 10 seconds to show me the audio is listenable before I close the podcast and move to the next one. Good audio is tablestakes.
