Found the box of my Voodoo5 5500AGP graphics card which I haven't seen for a very long time. I got this card from some friendly people at the 3dfx stall at a trade show back in the day when I had the chance to try my 3d engine I was working on, on their newest hardware. #3dfx
Currently working on light effects for night missions.
Yesterday's heavy afternoon rain. It didn't last very long though.
Another weekend of testing and tweaking AI and the player's weapons. Here the green player unit is manually controlled via the mouse, luring the enemy to the two flamethrower units waiting for it.
Continuing work on my Sci-Fi strategy/action game project. Right now I'm testing and tweaking all the player unit's weapons and upgrades including all the related particle effects and AI.

My cat loves when the sun is out. However, the air is cold. Last year you could sit outside by now. Given it's almost May it still doesn't feel like the spring has properly arrived yet.
Working on some audio code and sound effects for my game project while visiting family for an extended Easter break. I'm glad everything fits into a backpack nowadays. Not too long ago this would have been a tower PC with a 17'' CRT monitor sorrounded by some hardware synths.
15 years ago I worked on some code that did head & hand/finger tracking with UI interactions with a single standard webcam (video below). It was all just a prototype but would have done the job for a game I wanted to create. Unfortunately it never saw the light of the day.
My 3 favourite keyboard shortcuts for Visual Studio. 1) Ctrl+⬆️/⬇️ : Scroll up/down while keeping cursor at its position (until at top or bottom). 2) Ctrl+⬅️/➡️ : Jump over words left/right. + "Shift" to select. 3) Shift+Alt+⬆️/⬇️ : Select multiple lines to edit. "Esc" to exit.
