On Windows 10 token broker gives you the same ish functionality.
The fact that you can now invoke the system browser programmatically on OSX is going to make the OAuth2 BCP for native clients finally feasible on Mac desktop. Would be awesome to get the same on Windows desktop and Linux... then we could *actually* abandon embedded webviews
