FCCLA members attended the FCCLA/HOSA Mind Bending Career Conference today at the University of Kearney. The favorite session was Child Advocacy Centers and they also learned about careers in the mental and behavioral health field. They participated in hands on activities.
FCCLA and Educators Rising are hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, November 18 in the Tartan gym at Plainview high school. Please donate as almost all the spots have yet to be filled. Register online at red cross.org or call the school at 402-582-4991.
The One Act Season kicked off at the first ever Tri-County Theatre Workshop in Plainview. Several members of the One Act Team walked away with awards, including Jaylin Johnson and Season Forbes who earned the two Overall MOST Outstanding Performer Awards. Congratulations Pirates!
In other area news: No. 7 @PHSPiratePride defeated No. 2 Dundy-County-Stratton 66-44, and will face No. 1 seeded Shelby-Rising City. DCS was several people’s preseason favorites to win it all. Big win for Plainview tonight. #nebpreps
