I've completed the First 10 chapters of the book "Machine Learning with PyTorch and Scikit-Learn (2022)" - here's my learning journey so far 👇

Did exams prep all day and still did SQL at night. Not because I had energy - but because I didn't want to break the chain. Little By Little , we keep going.

Today's SQL Progress (8th Nov) Learned Window Rank Functions-ROW_NUMBER(), RANK(), DENSE_RANK(), NTILE(), CUME_DIST(), PERCENT_RANK(). Useful for Top/Bottom analysis, removing duplicates & segmenting data. The unique ID/pagination part Was confusing, but we'll practice for it.

Engineering exams aren't hard bro. It's just 5 units × 6 subjects × 1 brain that's already lagging 😭

Today's SQL Progress (7th Nov) Worked with Window Aggregate Functions - COUNT, SUM, AVG, MIN/MAX using OVER(). Helps get totals and averages while still keeping each row , Also tried moving and rolling averages today. Step by step, we keep improving.

Today's SQL Progress (6th Nov) Started learning Window Functions today. Basically, they're like Group By but without losing row-level details. PARTITION BY to divide data, ORDER BY to sort inside each group. powerful once you understand the flow. Step by step , we keep going !

Went through Git & GitHub basics again today , This video explains everything very simply. If you haven't learned Git yet, don’t feel behind , Whenever you start is the right time. Link :youtu.be/hrTQipWp6co?si…

Today's SQL Progress (5th Nov) Learned the CASE statement today - basically the if-else of SQL. Used it to categorize data, map values, handle NULLs, and derive new fields. Honestly, it looked big but it was easy all along Step by step, we keep improving.

(3rd Nov) Built my first ML project - a simple movie recommender. Took movie data from TMDB, created tags, vectorized them, and used cosine similarity to find similar movies. Seeing it actually recommend stuff was the best feeling 😭 Will push it on GitHub soon!

OpenAI gave Go model for free so I took it 😭 If I start giving long explanations, you know why.

Today's SQL Progress (1st nov) Learned SQL NULL functions - COALESCE, ISNULL, NULLIF, IS NULL / IS NOT NULL. Also understood use cases: handling missing values in calculations & joins becomes so straightforward once you get these. Makes cleaning data way easier.

Classic move — make a bold statement first, and when it backfires, say ‘we aren’t qualified’ 😭 The irony keeps getting deeper

First says Karna isn't a good character or warrior, then says we aren't qualified to judge their character 😭 The irony writes itself

Karna is neither good character nor good warrior. Don't get influenced by movies.

Karna wasn't perfect - he made some morally questionable choices, but calling him 'not a great warrior' is unfair. Even Krishna & Arjun admired his courage. Those who truly know the Mahabharat know Arjun was greater. I'm an Arjun fan myself, but I still respect Karna's greatness

Once this football tournament ends ! I will be back on my studying ways ⚔️😤

Nobody hates the good ones they hate the GREAT ones.
