In an historic move, the Human Rights Council this morning adopted a resolution merging my mandate and that of the Special Rapporteur on Trafficking in Persons. The new post "Special Rapporteur on Contemporary Forms of Slavery and Trafficking in Persons" will start 1 May 2026.
