Today there were just 3 Covid deaths, yet we're still headed for a lockdown extension. Compare that to the 450 daily cancer deaths in the UK, many of whom missed out on lifesaving treatment, and you can see why millions are asking this government where their priorities lay.

Deaths have fallen below the average of road accidents. How does Hancock justify keeping the roads open? Lock them down immediately.
Be under no illusion. The man in the middle cannot make *any* decisions on lockdown rules unless the two men on either side agree to back that decision in public. The advisers have become the decision makers. I don't remember voting for Whitty or Vallance. Do you?

After another fall, worldwide new cases are down 50.7% from the peak last month (11 January). Perhaps it’s being naive, but I would have thought that a halving of global new COVID-19 cases would be a big news story. I’ve seen very little coverage of this however.

I think quite a large number of people have become so terrified of catching Covid that they will never return to normal life even if restrictions are ever lifted. The UK govts & behavioural psychologists have done great harm to our society with their incessant fearmongering.
So @AmandaHolden gets hammered for driving 200 miles to see her very sick parents - a trip which endangered precisely nobody and presumably brought them great comfort. In so many ways, corona has stripped away our humanity. That's the sickness we should fear.
I am in Miami. Restaurants, bars, Hotels, gyms are all open. Neither death rate nor infection rate is much higher than UK. (actually it might be lower) why is UK in lockdown?

How can the government have spent £22,000,000,000 on the Track and Trace Programme? There are only 68,000,000 people in the country. Even if they rang everybody, that'd be £325 per person. Where did our money go?
