Solicitor General @SarahSackman visited Leeds today to meet with staff and prosecutors at @CPSUK, working to tackle crime and make our streets safer. The Minister also met with the team at @GovernmentLegal, who work to ensure the Government governs well, within the rule of law.
An extraordinary evening at the Royal Courts of Justice to celebrate 75 years of women silks (King’s Counsel). The Lady Chief Justice Baroness Carr congratulated over 350 women KCs from the most senior #16 HHJ Shirley Anwyl KC to the most recently appointed #641 Clea Topolski KC.

This week was my last week as a barrister at the Government Legal Department - a very strange feeling. I had an excellent two years of training at the GLD, but I am looking forward to the challenge of starting self employment at the 36 Group (Public Law and Human Rights team)
