Good questions drive fruitful conversations and knowledge. The guy teachers were amused and annoyed by in school. Have visited 57 countries, mostly non-rev
Your ‘projection’ claim is very easy to test in real world. But you’ll never do it. Book SCL-LAX, then LAX-YVR, then YVR-SYD, then back again. Give us your total flight time minus ground time, and we’ll compare to a roundtrip on the South Pacific route.
Dear Flat Earthers, please tell @PostNASA that the “not-parallel shadows” claim has already been discarded by Flat Earthers, since you can falsify it in your own backyard (which, unfortunately, requires going outside). x.com/pdubl22/status…
Sunlight is parallel. Its shadows do not converge, they only appear to.
We live on a planet where 71% of the surface is covered in water. That water evaporates in warm air near the ground and condenses at higher, cooler altitudes, forming what we call clouds. AKA the water cycle.
In dumbfuck flat world they think the human body feels speed instead of acceleration. 15 degrees per hour, the centrifugal force of .03 m/s/s. Yes, beyond slow.
Poor flerfs Just another example of not being able to be awed & inspired by modern tech. Instead, they are paranoid, frustrated, and bitter everybody over all of human history has lied to them
Friendly reminder dear Flat Earthers, Even Flat Earthers were able to measure Earth’s curvature. youtube.com/watch?v=GFqmDa…
Dear Flat Earthers, 1. To create a 2D map from a globe, a projection is required, and all projections have distortions. 2. The shortest distance on Earth’s surface between these two points is basically correct, but this path would crosses the Arctic Sea (on the right). 3. On your…
The flat Earth community shows mixed reactions to trolling with Grok. Many express frustration, claiming Grok is programmed to lie or hide the truth, as seen in posts accusing it of rejecting flat Earth claims. Some misinterpret Grok's responses, hoping it supports their views,…
Throbbers are starting to devour one another 🤣
Over 30 years ago, I began the journey of producing my first film, Mission: Impossible. Since then, these eight films have taken me on the adventure of a lifetime. 1/20
Another Flat Earther that thinks he knows more than a pilot about “Emergency Flight Paths” 😂🌎✈️
Make no mistake. This is an extinction level event for American scientific dominance.
What will humans be doing in 10 years? 1. In a decade most people will not be driving. What will we do instead? 2. In a decade most people will have robots in their businesses and probably their homes. 3. In a decade we won't be looking at 2D monitors much anymore. 4. In a…
Most investors are going to realize that the skill set and personal networks which made them successful in the traditional markets won't make them successful in the digitally native markets.
Canada started with smaller supplies of vaccine - but greater resources of responsibility and solidarity. And that, it turned out, made all the difference.
BREAKING: Canada is officially the world leader in fully vaccinated. major kudos to all the community/frontline workers who made this happen at a rate that’s peerless.
Use Twitter however you want. But if you enjoy writing, sharing, adding value, networking and making money... You should consider how this place could play a part in that.
In my first course (Legal Methodology) as a law student in the 2000s, my professor introduced the Socratic Method, and I had a name to put to my natural bent of mind. I apply it to every sphere of life. Always ask why, always dig deeper. Nullius in verba. A beautiful thread.
Humans are born with astonishing curiosity. But somewhere along the way, we are told to stop asking questions. THREAD: Using the Socratic Method to reclaim your curiosity, stimulate critical thinking, and establish first principles:
