A few months ago, I had a book launch party at a restaurant. Chris Rock had just done a set downstairs and spent a few minutes in back of the restaurant. My son asked for an autograph. Rock was as gracious as can be and wrote, “Be cool, Chris Rock.” The man lives by his word.

Honestly, Chris Rock taking an open handed undefended hit live on TV from a dude way bigger than him and finishing the awards presentation is the most impressive thing he’s ever done in his career.
