The @EEAD_CSIC has finished collecting rhizosphere samples from the field trials in Spain. As part of the RecoBar project, the rhizosphere microbiome of six varieties tested in five locations—two of which were sampled during two seasons—will be analyzed at @ucddublin in Ireland.

Last week, the International Barley Hub (Dundee, Scotland) hosted the third annual RecoBar project (recobar.eu) progress meeting and the Barley Genome Net 2025 conference. Researchers from around the world gathered to present the most innovative barley research.
