Replay was NOT permitted to overturn the OOB to an incomplete. This is OOB, dead-ball, and the only action that can be post-dead-ball in replay is a fumble recovery. This is a HUGE failure by replay to understand reviewable/not reviewable. Applicable ruling from the Casebook:

Congrats to the four retiring referees...great careers . Had the privilege of working with all of them...professionals but most of all good people! Best of luck always!
Congratulations to our retiring officials – Pete Morelli, Walt Coleman, Steve Stelljes and Larry Nemmers. Thank you for your years of dedication to the game, wish you all the best of luck! – AL
Dean one of the great songs of all time....
Entered the NFL officiating program in the same class as Walt and not a more professional and honest individual on the staff. Had a great 30 year career and proud to know him and be a good friend of his. Congrats Walt on a great 30 years!
The end of an era. Walt Coleman to retire after 30 seasons, the last active official hired by Art McNally. refs.ws/r65
Nice article about Pete Morelli..an excellent football official but more importantly an outstanding individual and a "close friend" Congrats Pete on a great career!!
