It's hard to find the words to say when a tragedy of this magnitude hits so close to home. My heart goes out to each and every one of you affected by this unspeakable tragedy that took place this morning. No politics here, just my absolute sincere condolences.
As a Republican Representative in the State of Wisconsin and as a mother who struggled with her own infertility issues for many years, I vow that regardless of what political role I am in or may hold in the future, I will never vote for anything that restricts the IVF process.
There is no level of transition that makes it acceptable for a born biological male to ever compete in female sports.
