What is happening in ERs across the province is horrifying and unacceptable. Our system is in crisis. We call on the government to communicate the plan, fix the problem, and tell New Brunswickers how they can access the care they need right now.

Another win for democracy & the official opposition this morning! We are pleased that the government has pulled Bill 46, the Education Act. This bill wasn't ready, contained serious deficiencies, removed parents voices. Txs to all the partners working w/ us for this outcome.
Despite all our efforts and dissent the Higgs government used their majority to pass Bill 39 - An Act Respecting the Regional Health. This bill completely removes the voice of elected board members and takes your voice out of health care.

The mental health court in SJ has helped many people receive the support they need. 🙌 They are influential as diverting people from jails & prisons reduces recidivism rates. We’d like to see the MH court expanded across NB to ensure everyone has access to alternative pathways ‼️
I'm relieved that the Minister & his team reconsidered & changed course. It couldn't have been easy. One positive aspect is that we got to see the power of people speaking out, participating in our democracy and putting forward great ideas for the future of the education system✨
