Trump wants his own copy of the 103 classified documents, pure and simple. And telling the Supreme Court that an appeals court had no jurisdiction to stop Dearie's review of those records is their vehicle for getting them. FIN
And that's *exactly* why they are doing this. Jim Trusty already confessed to Judge Dearie that Team Trump does not have its own index or list of the documents Trump was squirreling away at Mar-a-Lago. And even if it did, there's no substitute for having the docs in hand. 3/

I have read Trump's request to SCOTUS. He is not asking to block DOJ's review of the classified docs; rather, he is asking only to allow Judge Dearie to resume his review of the classified records. The question is why? 1/
As a 17-year resident of Tampa, I find DeSantis’ comments horrifying and repulsive. He has a humanitarian disaster in his state that has impacted millions of people and he is stoking hate instead of engaging as many Floridians as possible to relieve suffering and pain.
