Waiting for proofs of Magee’s OPA 8th edition, so this test will need to go in the 9th!
Now everyone who criticizes too many “opinions” in CPGs really just wants THEIR opinion in the CPGs… And of course it deserves an “A” rating We can wish the evidence was different but actually create it instead of complain about it

MT training doesn’t give absolute knowledge and is not to blame for some idiotic posts, comments or bad things said to patients! You can easily find these types of explanations in non trained MT Pysios. Please stop using a tunnel vision focusing only on bad MT
And ‘movement/activity based’ therapists can often spout nonsense about core stability and reductionist ideas of a weak glut or some such. Every ‘model’ is capable of being myopically twisted into BS
You’re conflating manual therapy training with disgraceful clinical behaviour. They aren’t joined at the hip as you infer
Interesting study looking at post operative shoulder stiffness after arthroscopic rotator cuff repair. Not many things associated with the stiffness. Mostly older age for both groups and tear size did not matter.

Oh no. What will the manual therapy sucks crowd say now? Grade A evidence for MT AND for dry needling for short-term pain relief. Don't care what those folks say. We can argue about the mechanisms for sure, but hip OA, SCFE, etc - it helps and is a compliment to exercise.
I think LT studies are hard cause health isn't static. They age. They gain weight. Joints wear over time. Health diagnoses may increase. Not saying we don't try, but short-term relief may be a game changer for people that are really hurting. I don't think we can ignore that
May be possible with a mean age of subjects at 35. Don’t think you will see these same results with the ACL age group most of us are seeing clinically.
