Living and working in deep #space will require increased attention to human #health and #performance. As missions get further from Earth, the human system risk component of total mission risk increases.
Smith: The average age of people working on Apollo was 27, now the average age at @NASA is much closer to double that. We need young people willing to take risks while also using our experience to do it in the safest way possible. We want to learn to live and work in deep space.
