One week ago today I was sworn in as the 40th Mayor for the City of Duluth. I remain humbled and in all of the challenges, opportunities, and responsibility. Thank you Duluth!

Hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving! We visited police and fire to thank them for being on duty, ran the 20th Annual Gobble Gallop 5k, and volunteered at the community Thanksgiving meal. Busy day filled with gratitude! 🦃

Thinking this Veterans Day about all those we have served, and are still serving. The United States Navy has been a defining element of my adult life. I continue to be incredibly honored to wear the uniform and serve along so many other remarkable people. ⚓🇺🇸
Solemn honor to participate at Split Rock Lighthouse to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. Family of some Fitz sailors were in attendance and rang the bell for their lost loved ones. "Oh God, the sea is so great and my boat is so small."
Had she taken the more direct route the Edmund Fitzgerald likely would've made safe harbor at Whitefish Point. But the forecasted winds were northeasterly so the northern route made sense. But when the winds switched to the northwest . . . arcfieldweather.com/blog/2020/11/1…
