Fentanyl overdoses have gripped our community, with the death toll 23% higher in the 1st quarter of 2022 than in 2021. Unhoused San Diegans are particularly vulnerable, illustrating how economic injustice is at the root of nearly all other injustices. Source: @voiceofsandiego

It is with a heavy heart that we honor the life of our dearest friend and social justice warrior, Stephanie Jennings. She was a founding member of Women Occupy and fought tirelessly to reform the predecessor to the CPP. Rest in Power, Stephanie. Much Love, Your Friends at SDJ.
