We, along with the entire hockey community, are mourning the passing of Chris Snow. Even while battling ALS, Chris dedicated his life to helping others and he changed the lives of so many. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Kelsie and children Cohen and Willa ❤️
Tests yesterday confirmed that Chris will not wake up. In life, Chris offered his body to a clinical trial to help others. In death he will do the same. He remains on life support while organ donation is arranged. We are so proud of him.

I did today what the doctor suggested 4 years ago on this day. Watched my son’s Little League playoff game. Listened to a podcast while lying in the sun. Worked on my laptop, Cut the grass. That is, I did what brings me joy. Year 4 living with #ALS cut that list down. A lot. 1/3
Four years of the simplest and most extraordinarily ordinary bucket list ever. Little league games. Sunshine. Mowing the lawn. Watching your kids grow up. Staying alive. ❤️

Day 11 in the ICU: Sat up feeling energized and told my nurse, also a Chris, “It’s time to rejoin the human race.” Seven days until Christmas morning. Unlikely as it may be, I have a goal in mind. 🎄👊
Chris has been off the ventilator (again) for more than 24 hrs. He remains stable & his amazing care team at Foothills ICU is working hard to keep him that way. We are grateful, hopeful & tired. There’s a long, winding road ahead, but he’s still here to travel it.❤️
