I think we've quickly reached an inflection point where the public is skeptical or somewhat hostile to AI and big tech. You can't run an industry on hype and dreams, while actively making lives worse and only offering a glorified autofill as recompense, and not expect some anger.

The way humans as a species treats the rest of nature is a reflection of our social relations: a system whose logic is dominance, control, and authority. #ClimateCrisis #ClimateActionNow #SixthMassExtinction

Big Tech's complicity in genocide against Palestine. Or maybe it's more accurate to say Big Tech enables it. aljazeera.com/opinions/2024/…. #palestine #freepalestine

How do you explain to liberals that you cannot tell people in a country with gerrymandered districts, a system in which wealth and funding directly translates into who wins campaigns, and a government which institutionally gives more power to a political minority, to 'vote blue'

SCOTUS is officially the most dangerous institution in existence now.

Capitalist healthcare is extortion. You're forced to make a decision about financially ruinous treatment at the threat of losing your health or your life.

Amazing how much prevailing ideologies are woven into all media without the creators or audiences thinking much about it. One of our weaknesses as humans that the powerful exploit is critical thought has to be learned, otherwise any natural instincts we have can be overwritten.

Essentially Ukraine is a proxy war b/t NATO nations (esp US) and Russia. The very least the US could do is seek a diplomatic solution through the UN, pulling NATO back/negotiating permanent Ukraine neutrality. But instead we're fueling with weapons. Criminal states on all sides.

LOL at Biden calling Putin a war criminal. Pot, kettle. cnn.com/2022/03/16/pol…

If Putin is trying to "de-nazify" Ukraine then indiscriminately shelling neighborhoods and cities is a funny way of doing it. Unless you want to argue that all these civilians are nazis, at which time I'll tell you you're a f*ckwit.

Imagine if some other country used the serious problem we have with fascists and racism in the US to justify invasion, killing many of the people they claim to care about and imperiling the rest. F*ck people trying to legitimize Russia's invasion and war crimes.

It's funny that people who support one or another version of rule by "benevolent" elites are not considered naïve, despite the whole of written history as a cautionary tale.
