These sections work quite well to add a cinematic feel to some moments. I realized this when I started making my level. Maybe I'll be able to share a video/screenshots of it in the future.

In fact, it is true. Forces has literally the most unified art style in the franchise, not to mention the divine sound design and the way the levels look and are decorated.
Sonic Team already changed their art style and assets, which fans didn't really like in 2017.
It is simultaneously really cool to see Pac-Man running through a Sonic level and really embarrassing that all of the assets here are from 2011 at the latest lmao

"Sonic games are about going fast" is the type of inherent misunderstanding of the franchise that lead to Forces Yes, Sonic games are about speed, but they're about gaining it, redirecting, keeping, and using it creatigely. That doesn't mean just go fast

I completely agree. Visually, Forces is superior to ShadowGens. Except for one location:
I don’t care how many reflective puddles of water you shove in my face the original still looks way better. The Shadow Gens version has no color, which is a common theme for a lot of the visuals in that game.
