1st graders composed rhythms with their bodies today and their classmates performed them. 2 in a chair = 8th notes, 1 in a chair= a quarter note, 0 in a chair = rest.

It was so fun to watch 3rd graders’ faces light up as they figured out the melody to “Rico’s Pizza Restaurant.” In the end, students could choose to play the bordun or the melody. #musicclass #orff #springrunfun
