We mourn the passing of President Emerita Dr. Marvalene Hughes, #StanState’s eighth & longest-serving president (1994–2005), who passed away Jan. 3 at age 88. A trailblazer & the University’s first woman & African American president, her legacy will endure for generations. ❤️💛
Shout-out to grad student Jessica Mojica, who was selected as Judges’ Favorite Poster Presentation at the recent CSU Biotechnology Symposium 👏 Out of nearly 100 posters, Jessica’s work stood out to the judges. A huge congratulations to Jessica on this well-earned recognition.🎉
