A group of footballers from Lincolnshire who have Down's Syndrome had an experience of a lifetime when they got to play an integral part of a professional matchday and play in front of their heroes @LincolnCity_FC. The Lincoln City DS Active team travelled to London on Saturday

🧤@LCityFoundation’s DS Active team have been invited to play on the pitch at the Valley on Saturday so we got their goalkeeper James - an Imps superfan - up to the EPC for a training session with our goalkeeper coach Scott Fry and the first-team keepers! Good luck on Saturday!

Wow what a day today has been. An early start for us all was followed by a trip to HC Powerlifting in Horncastle where they were hosting a Charity Powerlifting Competition. A chance for James to compete for the first time, in all 3 disciplines - Squat, Bench Press and Dead Lift.
