Bring back parental controls. Bedtimes. Leap frog. Making your child read for 30 minutes daily and during the summer. No electronics at the dinner table. Completing chores before going outside. Give these kids structure. Something!
I’m not a martyr. Everyone’s life revolves around their nuclear family. It just sucks that mine isn’t mine. - me in response to a well meaning friend telling me I shouldn’t be a martyr when the reality is that - this is everyone’s life just some people enjoy it
