But meanwhile, my sincere and humble request that make a huge difference in lives of people like us is to add parents to the list of H4 dependent visa at least for all folks with I-140 approved! Thanks sirs 🙏 @Kenny1207sg @DcWalaDesi @ellengilmer @PabloReports

The 55,000 diversity visas should be used to clear the green card backlog. Why should we bring in more people through a random lottery when doctors and engineers are waiting decades for their green cards?

I will have to change my country of birth be there. That’s not humanely possible. Country of birth discrimination is a dark chapter in making in American history.

This is some awesome news! Great work team and it's our job as constituents to get co-sponsors now. While IV and CO are there in DC, everyone else should focus on ONE thing. Getting meetings with their local Reps and getting their co-sponsorship. Let's go! ❤️

Special thanks to @RepMcCormick @CongressmanRaja & @RepJayapal for introducing H.R.6542 – the Immigration Visa Efficiency and Security Act. We look forward to visiting the Hill next week to create awareness on why this critical bipartisan bill is necessary to pass this Congress.

Beggars have no choice!! It’s golden cage for every backlogged person and their family! Today I heard bad news, my friend on H1B, his father expired last night, in shock state to travel or not, and visa renewal is pending. Imagine his pain! He is living in USA for 16 yrs now. 😢

"I'm so psyched about this new job.. but I hope my H-1B transfer goes through and they sponsor EB-2 cause I only have 2 of 6yrs left. We can celebrate in 3 months!" Friend just said this. It's sad how basic life emotions can't even be expressed uninhibitedly as a US immigrant.

If we capped Hindu immigration in the name of "religious diversity," people would be morally outraged. But capping Indian immigration in the name of "birthplace diversity" is within the bounds of debate. National leaders show no shame over it. It's not really discussed.

35% increase in recruiting Indian students just in a year. Why not put a country cap on student visa? Why not distribute student visa equally among all the countries? I think students of all the other countries are at disadvantage because they are not getting chance to study…
