This is a disturbing trend that needs to stop. Police officers are the people we call when we need help. They deserve so much better than this. I’m calling on the @OCDSB to immediately reverse this policy and show our heroes on the frontlines the respect they deserve.

I hope this is a misunderstanding OCDSB won't allow officers in uniform to speak to grade 1 kids or bring a vehicle We're teaching children to now fear & not trust Police I spoke in schools dozens of times in my career & I know I made a positive impact We need to do better

Horizon Ottawa have introduced anti-candidate campaign signage in many communities across our city. I’ve always believed in positive campaigns rather than knocking opponents. Horizon supported candidates should denounce this style of campaigning so it doesn’t become the norm.

Just received an email from Acorn telling me who to vote for. I find this offensive. Guess who is on top of their list. CM. Seems Acorn Horizon Ottawa and NDP machine are all behind the CM squad. Never seen so much interference in municipal elections.
It’s the irony of promoting a negative “club” narrative for four years only to attempt to elect your own “club.” In my opinion, it’s the wrong approach and candidates for Council should avoid being a part of any slate.
