After exhaustive tests, we found that it's likely that HostGator (or possibly Launchpad where they resell domains from) backend DNS servers that tell the internet where your nameservers are located are somehow broken and responding intermittently. The solution... #hostgator #dns

Users have reported that the latest update for Microsoft Defender is causing the deletion of their start menu and icons. Microsoft has acknowledged the issue and is working on a fix: techassist.io/topics/news/mi… #Microsoft


If @Rackspace had deployed @HuntressLabs threat hunting agent software on their Hosted Exchange Windows Server environment before they got hacked, it may have given them enough warning to save themselves. Companies take note. Huntress isn't even expensive.

UPDATE: Hosted Exchange outage. After triaging to understand the extent of the impact, we've determined that this is a security incident. Again, we apologize for the disruption. Please see our status page for details, as we update at least every 12 hours. bit.ly/3ui4CGk


The immediate solution to the @Rackspace Exchange outage is to immediately cutover to Office 365 directly. We recommend purchasing licenses from Microsoft directly. Migration of past emails from Rackspace is not possible at this time but will restore email service. #rackspace
