[[summarization and expansion of information]]
What would a text editor look like without a keyboard? A while back I tried designing some interactions around this conceptโcombining voice input, GPT-3, and various swipe and touch gestures centered around central metaphors of "thread" and "strands" 1/4 ๐งต
Generating topics is one way to build a personal wiki. Could also ask questions to your wiki with @HebbiaAI Sharing knowledge graphs is the dream. Difficulty is permissions and public/private boundaries
.@RoamResearch will enable [[free hierarchies]], as should any tool for thought of the future. More on free hierarchies: cutt.ly/Ckwqeu9
Overlapping Hierarchies + Associative Networks are the two paradigms humans use most naturally. A real knowledge management solution has to support both. Evernote supports neither.
Hiearchy isnt bad - thats why we do nesting in Roam, and back-links collect and filter on the whole subtree. It is the idea that an idea fits in only 1 place in the hiearchy, and you have to make that chouce before even having the idea that is bad.

[[free hierarchies]]
While reading the last chapter, "Hierarchies and Communities," of the brilliant book "Linked" by @barabasi, it all became clear to meโconceptual knowledge networks are hierarchical modular scale-free networks.
