What would a text editor look like without a keyboard? A while back I tried designing some interactions around this conceptโ€”combining voice input, GPT-3, and various swipe and touch gestures centered around central metaphors of "thread" and "strands" 1/4 ๐Ÿงต

Generating topics is one way to build a personal wiki. Could also ask questions to your wiki with @HebbiaAI Sharing knowledge graphs is the dream. Difficulty is permissions and public/private boundaries

.@RoamResearch will enable [[free hierarchies]], as should any tool for thought of the future. More on free hierarchies: cutt.ly/Ckwqeu9

Overlapping Hierarchies + Associative Networks are the two paradigms humans use most naturally. A real knowledge management solution has to support both. Evernote supports neither.

Hiearchy isnt bad - thats why we do nesting in Roam, and back-links collect and filter on the whole subtree. It is the idea that an idea fits in only 1 place in the hiearchy, and you have to make that chouce before even having the idea that is bad.

While reading the last chapter, "Hierarchies and Communities," of the brilliant book "Linked" by @barabasi, it all became clear to meโ€”conceptual knowledge networks are hierarchical modular scale-free networks.
