Water rescue this morning on 124th near Duvall - one person and a dog unable to leave home due to rising floodwaters.
Please STAY off closed roads! We have rescued more than a few people in the Duvall, Carnation and Fall City areas traveling over closed roads. The water is moving, there is debris, and we urge you to stay home. If there is an emergency, and you need to get out, call 911.
Dramatic video of the river rescue last night. EF&R, Fall City Fire, KCSO and Whidby Navel Helicopter Team worked to rescue two drivers caught in the swiftwaters. One ended up on the roof of their vehicle and the other in a tree. Stay home and don't travel unless necessary.

SR 900 near Tibbetts Creek just south of Issaquah (MP is fully blocked in both directions due to downed power lines. Expect delays in this area @cityofissaquah
Both US 97 Blewett Pass and US 2 Stevens Pass are closed for the night. If you must travel right now, the detour is SR 28 through Quincy and WSP is currently clearing an overturned semi near Crescent Bar (MP 20). Please drive for conditions. We're in this together. @wspd6pio
EF&R provided assistance with a swiftwater rescue in Snoqualmie due to flooding. Two adults and one child were not injured but relocated to drier ground. The waters will continue to rise. Please plan ahead and stay aware of rising water. #wawx
