Holidays over, flight back to BNE and inevitable return to work. Missing the kitties and can't wait to pick up tomorrow
Nice swim and bake day. Time to get some food, few beers and head down for flight back tomorrow.
This was the backpackers in Cottesloe, Perth, Western Australia that we first arrived at in 2011. It's where the adventure started, led to an epic road trip, and resulted in not going back to the UK.
So before Fremantle prison closed in 1991 they had their own eSports team.
So after narrowly missing @timminchin in Scarborough, we had a few days in Fremantle and a Rottnest trip.
Today I got up early enough to see the sunrise on the east coast, and hopped a plane to the west coast and I'll get to see the sunset over the ocean. I've not seen a coastal sunset in at least 6years UK and 11years Australia.
Should I pay for some surf lessons ahead of never taking my board out again🤔 For context Brisbane is an hour plus to a decent break, I don't surf well and I have 4 other board sports. Also considering a foil so I can kite when the wind is low, which will lead to a wing🫣
On the West coast, long day of travel and missing my cats. Went for a jog/run, immediately enjoying the dry heat
Holiday update, life continues to be struggle. Sunny day to get washing done before further rain and trip to Perth

12th day of leave, clocked up 9 gym sessions and multiple outdoor activities. Trip to WA booked and feeling awesome
Day one of leave, had a large coffee, spent 2hours on call with 🇺🇸 friend, went to shop and spent all day talking with mum in the garden while cat wrangling #relaxation
