Today, @SenSchumer and I held our latest strategy call on getting the For the People Act to my desk. Democrats are united and committed to passing this landmark legislation to protect voting rights, ensure the integrity of our elections, and repair and strengthen our democracy.
Together, we are going to build an economy that rewards work—not just wealth. An economy that works for the backbone of this country: the people who get up every single day to work hard to provide for their families, who are just looking for a little bit of breathing room.
It’s time we invest in our infrastructure and our future once again. It’s time for the American Jobs Plan.

Vandaag hielden @SigridKaag en ik geen droge voeten om de oproep van de @JKBonline tot het instellen van een #klimaatautoriteit te onderstrepen. De klimaatautoriteit is een bewaker van het klimaatbeleid en zal concrete voorstellen doen om de klimaatdoelen te halen.

Het demissionaire kabinet komt nog deze maand met een extra pakket klimaatmaatregelen. Dat is nodig om te voldoen aan het klimaatvonnis in de Urgenda-zaak, zo melden Haagse bronnen aan deze site....
