Does not seem that long ago that we discouraged social media use at work. Nowadays it’s a key competency in our recruitment and we have people come into teach how to use it. #agtech

“Get the cats on the roof” he said. People often ask “why don’t you have any pigeons, when there are so many next door?” The answer is simple. After spending thousands on pigeon proofing the solar panels; gutters etc my dad (RIP) suggested “get the cats on the roof”

I am sleeping out to raise money and to increase my awareness around homelessness. Appreciate your support of your are able ceosleepout.org.au/fundraisers/ti…

Homelessness in Australia has increased by 2.3% in the last five years. Our Managing Director, Tim Ford, has put his hand up to sleep out this year and raise much needed funds for one of Australia’s biggest growing issues.

Happy National Ag day! Today is a day to recognise all the hard-working farmers, graziers, producers, families and teams in ag who work tirelessly to make sure that we have food on our plates and clothes on our backs! It is a big job, but we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Absolutely. Where is the La Nina??? #bomwhereislanina

I recently spoke to one of our Government Ag department employees over the phone who commented how much better things must be out on the land with all this La Niña rain. It’s been bugging me ever since - even after I corrected their assumptions. This was Monday’s photo.

Did you know that this Sunday the 25th of October is National Hay safe day? We have created this video to encourage discussion around hay safety. You can also order a free copy of our Hay Safety poster here feedcentral.com.au/goods-and-merc… #nationalhaysafeday #hay #safety #agriculture

Are you worried about Corona from the Goulburn Valley? My hay has just been rinsed free of any contaminants. I will now await the highest bidder for corona free hay. Surely worth a premium.

Burning hay to dry grain. Interesting.

Drying grain without burning oil!

Hay is cheap at the moment and there are plenty of trucks so delivery can be organised pretty quick.

Cold, wet and snowy conditions pose risks for stock. Cold weather can increase energy demands by 20% Consider supplying hay ahead of the change as well as moving stock to sheltered paddocks. #agchatoz

A great message to our young people.

What a great message to our school leavers. Thanks @USQVC for a fantastic message and great leadership. The year level is quite remarkable given all the firsts they have experienced. Our year twelves really are an extraordinary bunch!

Found this in the office kitchen today. Probelm is that I was the only male in the office over 21 today.

Great to see investment in dairy. Great job @CampDairy

Today we signed an agreement with our builders to start immediately building our new factory on our completion owned 42,000 squ site. We are all very excited and looking forward to the future.

We just gotta get those kids back to school on day 1 term 3.

Rural parents rallied virtually this morning to get action on allowing more boarding students back to school. It’s one of a few things I’ve been hoping to ask @gracextwo about this week on @abcbrisbane but the Minister hasn’t been available.

As someone with property on a major highway (and a Big Mac away from the closest macdonalds) I think it is a great idea to print the rego number on all takeaway.

Some cold days and even snow on the horizon this week. Think about sheltered paddocks for stock before it gets here! #agchatoz

Guy at the bar: so like how farmer are you? Well I have 3 weather apps plus an app that tells me how much rain each field got so you could say pretty farmer I guess

Just wondering who reads a rural newspaper these days eg THE LAND; QCL; Weekly Times etc. Do you read it online or the old fashioned way?
