Romania, Ukraine, Georgia & Moldova are fighting back on Russian influence in a manner that the United States and other allies won't. America could learn a few things from their rejection of Russian interference on their elections.
The events in Syria have made the world realise once again, or at least they should, that even the most cruel regime may fall and that Russia and its allies can be defeated.
The big lesson is that Russia retreats when defeated. When we hesitate, Russia escalates. When we show resolve, Russia withdraws. Same with all dictatorships
