I don’t get why people specifically mention language in job profiles and restrict themselves. People are backend devs, not java or python backend dev. Language is just a medium. It’s not like you’re actively developing Java itself, you’re building a software using Java.

As somebody who takes interview (product based unicorn startup), I totally agree with this. This year we went for a campus placement, candidates flaunted their LC counts and codechef ranks in their resume And to those candidates we deliberately asked two-sum with variations 1/n
My observations of the oncampus placement season this year :- 1) If you are able to solve LC medium and hard then you won't struggle in OAs for sure. As compared to last year the difficulty has decreased tbh 2) Rarely a company asked Graph,Dp,tree else they didn't even bother…
