One of the things I love about Python is you don’t have to wait for your code to compile to get your results. Of course when you run your app in a container you have to wait for the container to build and you’re back to waiting for things to compile again.


It would be so much nicer if grocery stores were optimized so the ice cream and milk weren’t at the back of the store.

The problem with being a technology person is when a service like @SlackHQ has issues you question “is this just me or everyone” and try to troubleshoot all the problems.

It was time. I didn’t do anything on that project for a year. That domain is too expensive to keep renewing and doing noting with. I hate letting domains go but $115 is too much to keep paying for a dead idea.


Preparing some code for a meeting and notice one of the visuals is not correct. It was an easy bug 🐜 to squash. Good way to start the day.

Sometimes in tech your job is helping other people do their job without a complete understanding as to what they do.


At the end of the day everything is a database or a spreadsheet.


I have a bit of a wacky prediction. Fast food workers could be replaced with robots. But not fully autonomous robots. These are all controlled by a mobile “game” that rewards players for completing orders. After multiple people make the same order it’s “validated”.


I would by an iMac 🖥️ if I could also use it as a docking monitor for my MacBook. Which was possible on the HD iMacs. 😓😰
