Since the start of the war in Gaza some 18 months ago, we have resumed work at the outpatient department of the St John Eye Hospital in the Gaza City. More than 59 patients have been treated on the first day. We hope this is the start of a peaceful era.
Renovation of outpatient clinics at our Gaza Hospital has been completed. We should commence services at the Hospital next week. Thanks to all our dedicated teams who have been working in Gaza for more than one year under extraordinary conditions.
We are delighted to announce that work has begun at the St John Eye Hospital Group- Nablus. Today and so far more than 18 patients have received their care in this hospital. A fantastic day and an exciting start.

Everyone at @StJohnEyeHosp works as a team and, in this video, we see the mobile outreach driver, Othman, helping out with a young patient who needs help positioning himself at the slit lamp. A great team that makes up the Eye Hospital family!
When the water filtration system at @StJohnEyeHosp began to fail the KT Province of Durham stepped in to provide emergency funding for a new system that has now been installed.
