I’m so proud of our teachers who have tried new things in their class this year. It’s not easy stepping out of our comfort zone… but it's something we all need to do from time to time.

So excited for the start to #TSPRA22. Looking forward to discussions and sessions that Reimagine Communications. ⁦@ScholasticNet⁩ ⁦@TSN_Menus⁩ ⁦@tspra⁩ ⁦@TSN_Athletics

Yes, research definitely points to the power of paper in learning. Today requires both the act of the writing and the visual stimulation that learners are accustomed to. @sciam @NeuroscienceNew and @NPR have all included articles on research studies supporting this.

So, I did a little experiment with my students: Paper Assignment vs Posted Assignment 1. I gave my classes the same exact assignment, but one class received a printed handout and for the other class I posted it on Google Classroom.

Awesome idea! Imagine the impact of doing this school-wide and giving every student the opportunity to share across a visual communication network (like @ScholasticNet) where every other student learns from their peers. Thank you @edutopia for sharing.

A high school teacher found he could build a stronger classroom community in less than one minute each day—with a simple activity called Daily Dedications.
