Math problem of the week!

It's one of my favourite classics: one either sees 30 or 31 pieces. (Avoid even spacing of dots to get max of 31.) What's the next (maximal) number for 7 dots on a circle? [Real challenge:Why do these numbers match the sum of the first 5 entries of each row of Pascal's triangle?]

Math talk is such an important part of learning math! Thanks Ms. Johannes!

Problem of the Week! Suppose five bales of hay are weighed two at a time in all possible ways. The weights in pounds are 112, 113, 114, 115, 116, 117, 118, 120, and 121. How much does each bale weigh?

Problem of the Week! Counting only the paths that follow the lines and go downward or to the right, how many paths from A to D are possible.
