A thread on moving abroad (in my case Dubai) 2.5 years ago I moved to Dubai with my wife and 2 kids and it was one of the best decisions I've made in my life. Some personal context: I was born and raised in Belgium, the center of Europe. I always lived close to my parents who…
Bitcoin not being above $200k with all these BTC being taken off the market, all these treasury and ETF flows, all these approvals and acceptance in a traditional portfolio feels criminal. Or at least criminally undervalued.
They actually didn't sell $120k so that means the next logical spot to sell is $150k. Now they want you to think that there are sellers here at $121k, that obviously isn't true but the paper BTC guys are desperately trying to protect their positions. x.com/WhalePanda/sta…
They want you to think people are selling Bitcoin at $118k. No one is actually selling Bitcoin at $118k. People will sell at $120k, 150k, 169k, $200k,... but no one is actually selling at $118k, don't fall for it.
What if... as @BowTiedMara said, people are searching in LLMs now. Or what if... people actually looked up Bitcoin last cycle, why would they Google it again? I don't use Google anymore, just for pics really. x.com/marcvanderchij…
Retail has no idea what’s happening in Bitcoin. Google Trends shows that hardly anybody searches for Bitcoin yet (this is a proxy for buying it). Mainstream media is a big part of the reason, none of the newspapers talk about BTC all time highs on their front page.

My PT, who has no idea about me being in Bitcoin, got a Coinbase notification on his phone while we were working out about it hitting a new ATH. That's as retail as you can get "I told my gf a week ago this would happen... I didn't buy any though, but it's nice to be right". 😂
So last week's treasury companies: Total of 5,880 BTC went to Treasury companies. Strategy: 4,225 BTC for $472.5 million at $111,827 Metaplanet: 797 BTC for $93.6 million at $117,451 Sequans: 683 bitcoin for $79 million at $116,213 The Blockchain Group: 29 BTC for €2.8 million…
So Saylor bought 4,225 BTC for $472.5 million at $111,827 per Bitcoin. Price is pretty good. Last week he did sell common shares to fund it. Around $331 million worth. x.com/saylor/status/…

Strategy has acquired 4,225 BTC for ~$472.5 million at ~$111,827 per bitcoin and has achieved BTC Yield of 20.2% YTD 2025. As of 7/13/2025, we hodl 601,550 $BTC acquired for ~$42.87 billion at ~$71,268 per bitcoin. $MSTR $STRK $STRF $STRD strategy.com/press/strategy…
The craziest thing about this Bitcoin pump is... that it still hasn't made a new ATH vs CHF or Euro yet. It's getting close now though 2-4% until they hit new ATH too. But it goes to show how much value the USD has lost in the last 6 months.

Unlike last week, Saylor bought Bitcoin this week. Will be interesting to see the amount and price tomorrow. x.com/saylor/status/…
If this were true... Iran could do something really funny that would get them global support. x.com/BasedTorba/sta…
Epstein is sipping red wine on a balcony in Tel Aviv having a nice laugh about all of this.

The fact that we've for now (temporarily) seem to have decouple from tech stocks is positive. (hope I don't Jinx it) But already seeing a lot of: "Bitcoin is going up, so I should buy Fartcoin/XRP/DOGE".
Been a while since I've seen a Bitcoin headline on Belgian news site. I translated the latest comment for lols. hln.be/economie/bitco…

Is there anything more funny as a Bitcoiner or sad as a shitcoiner than the Ethereum Foundation immediately dumping a couple of million of ETH as soon as there's some spark of hope? x.com/lookonchain/st…
A wallet linked to the #EthereumFoundation sold 1,210 $ETH for 3.5M $USDC at an average price of ~$2,890 over the past 6 hours. intel.arkm.com/explorer/addre…

Bitcoin vs Gold Bitcoin vs Euro Not even close to ATH. The USD just happened to have lost a shitton of value the last 6 months

Some people are saying that Bitcoin made a new ATH. It didn't. When Bitcoin hits a new ATH, it cascades up a few % and starts running. USD just lot a lot of value the last couple of months thanks to Trump and his tariffs.

Bitcoin keeps underperforming everything. Gold up S&P up Nasdaq up DXY down Bitcoin down. We did have again 2 days of positive ETF inflows though, but still red weekly for now. It's all so tiresome and predictable.

ETH being up 3% apparently. Should have known. Guaranteed dump
