Despite mounting calls for a negotiated ceasefire by the Tigray gov’t & the int’l community, @AbiyAhmedAli is intensifying his genocidal assault on Tigray with the use of drone strikes & other harrowing war tactics against civilians. @SecBlinken @JosepBorrellF #TigrayGenocide

Having studied #Ethiopia history and politics for over 30 years, it is a tragedy to observe how the history is repeating itself, creating endless sufferings for so many people…

Those responsible for the bombing of a village market in northern Tigray, killing and injuring hundreds of civilians, must be held accountable. We call on the Ethiopian authorities to ensure the victims receive immediate medical access, and for an independent investigation.

@AbiyAhmedAli of #Ethiopia orders to arrest Ethnic Tigrayan youth innocent residents of Addis Ababa ''to conduct national elections' without security concerns. Thousands detained so far. Ethiopian Human Rights bodies are informed but gave deaf ear. @nimaelbagir @wdavison10

Why.For.Me さんがリポスト

Reports of ongoing human rights violations in Tigray—including sexual violence and the targeting of journalists—are deeply concerning, and those responsible must be held accountable. Eritrea must remove its troops from Ethiopia as promised more than one month ago.

Today's London protest uniting Tigrayans, Eritreans and other people from the Horn of Africa with the British public. All opposing the atrocities in Tigray

I‘m disappointed PM Abiy has not yet fulfilled his commitments to withdraw Eritrean forces, remove obstacles to humanitarian access, & hold perpetrators of human rights abuses accountable. I’m concerned by atrocities continuing to occur across #Ethiopia—inside & outside of Tigray

Today in the UN Security Council, I reiterated the urgency of addressing the crisis in Tigray. We continue to call for an end to the hostilities, the withdrawal of Eritrean forces, and for the Ethiopian government to hold those responsible for human rights violations accountable.

Four sources tell me there is ongoing renewed mass arrests of Tigrayans in Addis Ababa, especially in 22 area. One source claims that this campaign of detentions based on ethnic profiling will continue and intensify.

Why.For.Me さんがリポスト

Eritrea will not withdraw from Tigray unless world acts in concert and puts a hefty price. Simple. You are dealing with a ruthless and hardened regime used to blackmail and lies to escape accountability for decades.

After the PM confirmed there's a sustained insurgency ongoing, ENDF's General Kindu tells Tigrai TV that "tens of thousands" of Tigrayans are joining the resistance, corroborating consistent reports from the Tigrayan side that many are volunteering. youtu.be/8rzX4RaFbK0

#Ethiopia|n gov. propaganda is beyond #Orwellian newspeak. Z «indoctrination» head (sic!) of #ENDF claims «For z sake of political consumption these forces massacred their own people» blaming #TDF. General, ‘command responsibility’ = accountability awaits. fanabc.com/english/natl-d…

As a Tigrean I can say with certainty that Tigray will never be part of Ethiopia again. Ethiopia in the hand of infant Abiy Ahmed and the insane Amhara elite supported by the demonic Esayas is dead. It’s just waiting for a final burial.

Why.For.Me さんがリポスト

The fascist PM has recently said TPLF is intermingled with farmers , taking that as a pretext, Isayas & him are now started a new launch of massacre of farmers & their belongingness through out Tigray . The world should act now & it’s already getting too late .#IStandWithTigray

Truth does not need PR or lobbying. It sells itself remarkably well. If you lie don't do PR and lobbying. It makes you look even worse.

In Ethiopia, "there is no military solution to the war. There is no meaningful ‘victory’ by any side. The final outcome will be a political agreement. Every day of continued fighting brings only more death," writes Alex de Waal in his latest blog. sites.tufts.edu/reinventingpea…

The number one priority for the people of Tigray is a cessation of hostilities and an end to the atrocities.

We don’t trust him, Eritrean troops are through out #Tigray his statement out of Ethiopia border is misleading! The international community’s needs to intervene and save the civilians.
